Pointing People

This is a collection of people pointing from newspapers in Vienna/Austria.

I started the collection a few years ago and a couple of days ago I thought that it is time to show a larger amount of people how uncreative some press-photographers are. I find it strange how newspapers attempt to write a compelling article and fail. It seems as though they never find interesting things to write about in this city so they try to add some 'spice' to the crap that they write by forcing participants to point at a rock, or tree, a hole in the ground, or some other object.
You might think it's odd, looking at a bunch of strangers pointing at/towards equally strange things here, but this is an example of the obsurdity of everyday columnists and their awkward attempts at writing.
